SING BHUJIYA

Fried Sing Bhujia Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup raw peanuts

1/4 cup besan (gram flour)

1 tbsp rice flour (for extra crunch)

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp chat masala or amchur (dry mango powder)

Salt to taste

Water (as needed for coating)

Oil (for deep frying)

Instructions:

1. Coating the peanuts:

In a bowl, mix besan, rice flour, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.

Add peanuts and toss well.

Sprinkle water little by little and mix to coat peanuts with the flour. It should be a dry, crumbly coating—not a thick batter.

2. Frying:

Heat oil in a pan.

Fry peanuts in batches on medium heat until crisp and golden.

Drain on paper towels.

3. Final Touch:

Sprinkle chaat masala or amchur while still warm for extra tang.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips:

For a healthier version, roast the peanuts and toss them in dry masala.

Add crushed curry leaves or garlic powder for more flavor.

Store in an airtight container once cooled — lasts for up to 2 weeks.

Let me know if you’d like a roasted (oil-free) version or want it made in the air fryer!
