SING BHUJIYA
Fried Sing Bhujia Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 cup raw peanuts
• 1/4 cup besan (gram flour)
• 1 tbsp rice flour (for extra crunch)
• 1/2 tsp red chili powder
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp chat masala or amchur (dry mango powder)
• Salt to taste
• Water (as needed for coating)
• Oil (for deep frying)
Instructions:
1. Coating the peanuts:
• In a bowl, mix besan, rice flour, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
• Add peanuts and toss well.
• Sprinkle water little by little and mix to coat peanuts with the flour. It should be a dry, crumbly coating—not a thick batter.
2. Frying:
• Heat oil in a pan.
• Fry peanuts in batches on medium heat until crisp and golden.
• Drain on paper towels.
3. Final Touch:
• Sprinkle chaat masala or amchur while still warm for extra tang.
⸻
๐ก Tips:
• For a healthier version, roast the peanuts and toss them in dry masala.
• Add crushed curry leaves or garlic powder for more flavor.
• Store in an airtight container once cooled — lasts for up to 2 weeks.

Let me know if you’d like a roasted (oil-free) version or want it made in the air fryer!
